Joining the Repeater 29er and Relay MX, is another ‘R’-named Transition e-bike, the new Regulator. 

Developed as a robust multi-purpose drop bar rider’s wheel, the Tenaci GT25 features a rim shape optimised for several tyre sizes and pressure bandwidths. Whereas the Tenaci GT40 has a dedicated aero profile, the Ere Research product team wanted to create something more versatile with the Tenaci GT25.

The product mission for Kona’s design team with the new Libre, was to create a more versatile gravel bike. It is light enough to race at Unbound, but also has enough carrying capacity for gravel riders who want to use their Libre as an adventure touring and exploration bike. 

Gravel bike suspension. A decade ago, it was an odd concept. However, as the gravel category has grown, more innovation is happening to create gravel bikes with better traction and reduced rider fatigue. And that means more suspension integration.

Graded as Goodyear’s ‘rowdy trail tyre’, the Escape now features two tread designs and more volume, allowing riders to run their Escapes at lower pressures with greater confidence.

As handlebars trend wider, riders needing mid-width options encounter a comfort paradox. Carbon-fibre handlebars engineered for an 800mm width can feel harsh if cut narrower, because the inherent strength analysis done by engineers at the product origin is for the full-width leverage forces. And that means if you cut them narrower, they can ride harshly.
