The Leatt MTB 3.0 AllMtn V21 helmet is a trail and enduro lid that combines an interesting rotational impact system with unique styling and great airflow. The smallest size is still quite big, though, and it sits low on your head. It's also neither the lightest or cheapest for this kind of lid.

Recently re-launched and now a full time member of the Nukeproof Reactor family, the Reactor 290 ST is a shorter travel version of the full suspension trail bike. With a lithe and resposive feel and top spec components, this bike – so long as you're happy to lock out the shock for climbing – makes a mean mile muncher.

The Leatt MTB 2.0 women's jacket is water-resistant but it's neither light, cheap or particularly breathable. The best thing about it is the packability, and the magnetic hood system neatly stops the hood flapping around when riding.

Originally as a short-nosed saddle for road racing and endurance riding, Fizik has adapted the Argo range for off-road riding. The new gravel specific saddle, the Terra Argo, gets a raised rear, a dropped nose and wide centre cut out.
