Muc-Off introduced its original pressure washer to the cycling world in 2018. Designed especially for bikes but can be used for basically anything, including your car, it has forged a name for being safe on bearings and seals, and allowing you to wash your bike without negatively affecting any delicate moving parts. Fast-forward to now, and the Poole-based company has taken things up a notch with the new Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer.

As the name suggests, it's portable and easy to take on the road, meaning you can safely wash your bike after a ride or race without any dirt caking on your frame and components. The big drawcard here is undoubtedly the performance it offers the user, particularly without needing access to power or water mains. It’s a gamechanger.
Below are five reasons the Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer will change the way you think about washing your bike.
1. It’s the most powerful mobile pressure washer in the game
The Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer is safe on bearings, components and delicate paint surfaces thanks the pressure stream that’s been tuned to deliver a balance like no other Compared to its rivals, it’s got a 71% higher max power and the water pressure is 201% higher than the segment's leading units at 942.5 psi. Unlike the glut of offerings on the market, you can rest assured the Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer will get the job done every time, thanks to an impressive 20-litre integrated water tank with a built-in water filter.
2. Mobile like no other
The Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer was designed with mobility at its core. It utilises a fold-down towing handle, grab handle, and four wheels, including rough-terrain-optimised rear wheels to navigate even the roughest surface types. The washer also uses simple, quick-connect accessories for ease of use – this includes a self-priming function for speed, a five-meter high-pressure hose complete with dual-pressure modes (Boost/Eco) to extend battery life. All the electronics are housed safely in an IPX5-rated protective casing.
3. Powerful battery needing only 4 hours to recharge
While many pressure washers on the market utilise 12V batteries, Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer is powered by a rather large lithium-ion battery rated at 40V, 2.5Ah 90Wh, which feeds a 500W brushless motor. The segment standard for battery life is around 15 minutes, something Muc-Off has exceeded with the Mobile Pressure Washer at 24 minutes, and that’s continuous cleaning time.
4. It’s the only mobile pressure washer with snow-foam functionality
One of the hallmark features of all Muc-Off Pressure Washers is the snow foam function, and the Mobile Pressure Washer doesn’t disappoint in this regard. As expected, the unit comes equipped with an innovative snow foam lance. Current users of Muc-Off’s system will be familiar with this system, which essentially requires the connection of a bottle of Muc-Off Nanotech Bike Cleaner to the lance. This combination creates a highly effective snow foam layer that breaks down dirt at a molecular level and ensures every ounce of dirt and mud gets dealt with and eradicated.
5. At 7.66kg, you can take it with you… Anywhere
While some of its rivals are lighter, they lack the mobile features and wheel functionality that set the Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer apart. Considering its well-considered design, it tips the scales at just 7.66kg, making it lightweight enough to take along on any adventure. In terms of cleaning prowess, it comes standard with four lances to ensure it can deal with all situations. For those who want even more assurance, there’s an option of purchasing additional extras, including more batteries and charging units, an additional 20-litre water tank (which doubles the available water supply), and a 65-litre Dry Bag Mobile Holdall – a must-have for safely carrying the unit and all its accessories.
So what’s the catch?
There isn’t one. We just wanted to assure you it’s the right purchase to make. The standalone Muc-Off Mobile Pressure Washer plus a 1-litre bottle of Nanotech Bike Cleaner costs £250 / $399 / €275. This jumps to £425 / $550 / €450 for the ‘Ultimate Bundle’, which adds a 65-litre Dry Bag Mobile Holdall, additional 20-litre Water Tank, additional battery, 1-litre bottle of Nanotech Bike Cleaner, plus a 1-litre bottle of Nanotech Bike Cleaner Concentrate. Considering the two-year warranty and the unit’s versatility to double up for use on your car and motorbike, it’s an investment worth making.

And 5 reasons you don't
A 14 litre bucket can be yours for a quid, your old washing up brushes are essentially free. Throw in a few cycle specific degreasers and lubes and you've probably spent less than £20. You'd have to have an awful lot of disposable income to justify buying Muc-off's overpriced power shower
