Want a bike that can win the EDR World Series? Yeti celebrates its 40th Anniversary with limited edition SB160... and it'll cost you £12,500

2025 marks Yeti's 40th anniversary, and if the brand hasn't already shouted it loud enough upon the unveiling of its £14,000 limited edition ASR, it is bringing a limited edition SB160 to the party. It's 'cheaper' too, at a ripe £12,500.

Spotted at last weekend's leg of the EDR in La Thuile, ridden by Slawomir Lukasik, who went on to win the race and the EDR Championship, Yeti says that the 40th Anniversary Team Edition SB160 is race-ready. Although we reckon at that price, it's best hung on a wall for ogling purposes...
The race-readiness comes from its specification, as it uses a slew of componentry that the brand's enduro athletes run. So that includes the very latest Fox Podium fork with 170mm of travel and a Live Valve Neo-equipped DHX shock. In fact, wireless tech is littered throughout the bike as there's the new Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain too, paired with the non-wireless XTR four-piston brakes.
Like the 40th Anniversary ASR, the special edition SB160 throws back to Yeti's past, a day when Missy Giove and Myles Rockwell were busy riding Yeti's bikes to multiple podiums. As such, there's a bunch of purple anodisation, including the custom Chris King 3D Violet headset, a bit of kit you'll only find on this bike.
Boosting race-readiness is that the bike will come with CushCore Trail inserts from the factory. There's a purple Burgtech seatpost collar from Burgtech as well as a purple rear axle.
For anyone who's not familiar with the SB160, it's Yeti's enduro bike that dons 160mm of rear travel at 170mm up front. It's a 29er and it uses the brand's Switch Infinity link, a common sight on Yeti's machines for years now.
Those with a spare £12,500 lying about will have an opportunity to bag one of 100 bikes in this very limited run.
