Would be nice to read the comparisons between this and the cheaper x5, it's what we all will need to do. In fact comparisons against any winter boot would be good!

The trick for getting neoprene sleeved cycling shoes on is a shoe horn.  The neoprene will stretch and become less effective and will eventually tear if you don't - it's not a durable as it first seems.  I have some NW road shoes (with vents - inexplicably) - and I find that using Assos rain booties helps rain ingress massively.  I love my shoes, by the way, and get 4-5 months more or less daily use out of them every year.  The Fiz:k's look great, but are a narrow fit from previous attempts to get them on.
