The Spank Oozy 220 saddle is flat, wide and nicely supportive. The slightly flexy shell means it's very comfortable and it looks great, but the foam padding is vulnerable to damage and can peel away.

I found that the Oozy 220 suited me really well. Its flat and wide shape is supportive without being too cumbersome, and it doesn’t get in the way when the saddle is dropped either.
The Oozy 220 has a fibre-reinforced plastic shell, co-moulded foam padding – which means it's heat-bonded to the shell – and hollow chromoly steel rails. It measures in at 144x265mm and weighs 280g.
The fiber-reinforced shell allows a bit of give (you can easily bend it with your palm) which adds to the comfort. The bending, generally, isn’t consciously noticeable, but I’ve found that I’ve been able to ride for longer than usual without discomfort.
The saddle kicks up in the rear with the intention of supporting your lower back on the climbs. Now, this isn’t something I really noticed, perhaps because I’m rarely that far back on the saddle while climbing, but it's a nice touch if your style puts you there.
Unfortunately, the Oozy 220 isn't as tough as it could be. The wear from turning the bike upside down to fit a wheel/dragging the bike in and out of the car has caused the foam upper to come away from the shell. It’s a shame, and something I’ve not yet come across with other saddles.
If you were to treat it a little more carefully than I did, then the Spank Oozy 220 is a flat, wide and comfortable saddle that's very supportive. It looks pretty cool too. Unfortunately, if you're regularly inverting (or crashing) your bike, it's probably best avoided.
