The Mainline is Smiths' first entry into the full face helmet market. While it is expensive, it can definitely earn its keep – it’s supremely comfortable and it fits the bill for an enduro-focused full face almost perfectly. It has both the MIPS and Koroyd rotational-impact protection systems for impressive safety, though the Koroyd blocks some airflow.

The Alpinestars Drop 6.0 gloves are designed especially for enduro riders. They’re light, slim and comfortable, though there's no soft wipe – and they're not deep enough between forefinger and thumb to fit every size of hand.

After the reliable success of the Scout, Nukeproof has given it an update for 2021. The new 2021 models get an updated geometry, up to date kit and the brand has stocked out the warehouse to make sure there's enough to cope with recent demand.

After a call for a training bike from the brands' EWS rider, Matt Stuttard, Privateer has teased the E-161, an enduro e-bike with some seriously progressive geometry and Shimano's new EP8 drive unit.

With the new Kitsuma shock from Cane Creek, the brand aims to reduce poor suspension setups by making on the fly adjustments as easy and simple as they can be.

The Specialized Eliminator GRID TRAIL 2Bliss Ready is designed for enduro riding, can handle downhill situations well, and behaves nicely on hardpack. It rolls excellently too, but it takes a while to learn to get the best out of it.

The Singletrack Glasses from Endura are well designed, comfortable and lightweight. They’re completely fog-resistant and the lenses are simple to swap – the only negative is the lack of clear lenses.

The EVOC Hip Pack 3L is a small bag designed for short rides. It has enough space for the absolute essentials and, while it's comfortable and has a couple of neat tricks up its sleeve, it really is only suited to quick blasts.

Adding to the big range of updates to the line up, the Spectral will be getting some updates from Canyon for 2021. You can expect new colours, new hardware, and new rubber on the new models.
