Finally on the shelves of bike shops is the long-awaited Shimano GRX groupset aimed at gravel and adventure bikes. Offering 10 and 11 speed drivetrains and in 1x and 2x configurations, Shimano GRX has something for everyone at a few different price points too. We are testing a (mostly) GRX RX600 mechanical groupset with hydraulic brakes, here are all the details, plus weights, prices and lots of photos. 

Avoiding the 'wheelie good' gag, the 5 cool things post this week is heavy on the wheelset front. We've got affordable 700c gravel wheels from DT Swiss and Hunt and also mountain bike wheels from Spank with a Vibrocore filling. There are also a brand new bikes in the house from Calibre and GT.

Continental, in their words, have thrown their hat into the gravel bike market with the launch of two brand new gravel tyres, the Terra Speed and the Terra Trail for the adventure riders among us.

The Osprey Transporter 40L is a tough backpack come duffle bag that has a hideaway harness system and padded shoulder straps making it a comfortable prospect for packing in a day's worth of bike gear or traipsing the floors of airports.
