Up for grabs is one of Peruzzo's Zephyr 3 tow ball carriers which comes with a range of features to accommodate e-bikes, while being rated to carry up to 60kg. Those features include extra spacing between the rails to make room for those chunkier downtubes and there's a handy ramp that attaches to the rack so you can simply roll your e-bike onto the rail.

The Zephyr three also tips with a quick step on a lever, allowing you easy access to your car's boot with bikes attached and it's held in place with a simple and lockable quick-release system. This carrier is supplied with three grab arms to carry three bikes and it can be expanded to carry an extra bike by installing an additional part available from Peruzzo.

Great! A well-designed, roomier, tow ball mounted bike rack with stabilising arms too! If this rack will easily accomodate bikes with different sized frames and fatter tyres it would be a winner in my eyes!

The Peruzzo Zephyr 3 rack would suit me perfectly. I already have a tow bar, for my trailer.
My current bike carrying contraption is one I got from Helfords, years ago. I still works but the straps etc no longer give me confidence - I stop the car every few miles just to check, especially when the road gets a bit rough. The back of the car is also prone to scratches from bike contact. The Peruzzo Zephyr 3 looks like a much more secure solution all together.

Oh, I would love this. As would my back which is arguing against my plans to try and lift an eBike onto the roof rack.
